AMC 360 Oiling problems

I've seen mention here and there in these threads about a 360 oiling problem. How bad is it? Is it present in all AMC v8's? Do jasper, ATK, etc. do anything about it when they sell warantied long blocks? Any links to a discussion or thread I missed would be appreciated.
