AMC 360 intake manifold...stuff

Heya all..I am in the process of putting the bits and pieces on the 360 that will go in the 84 cj-7. My question deals with the edelbrock intake I put on. I can not for the life of me find what all is supposed to go on that thing. I have found some things, like coolant temp, egr, oil fill tube, thermostat, but I dont know everything that is supposed to go on it. Does anyone have a pic with the part names pointed out? I would appreciate it.

Right now, this is the closest close up I have. I can send you more when I get home from work on Wednesday. I know it may not do you much good, but it's the best I can do on an iPad.

go to the edelbrock website and download the 2131 intake instructions. it has a diagram for each item that is attached to the intake.

I'm in the process of rebuilding a 360 with a Performer #3731. (EGR version).

Here is everything that came off the old cast iron intake. Perhaps you can use a manual to identify each piece.

Man that is good advice. I downloaded the pdf to take a look at. It does list some things, but most it lists everything by threads...which doesn't really help me.

Some things are different on the intake over stock, such as heater tubes off of the manifold...that one has me a little confused.

I have since figured out a few pieces, but am still stuck on some. Here is a pic.

Any help on these last few pieces would be much appreciated.

SuperJeep,

Your engine is coming along beautifully!!

I'm paying close attention to this thread because I'm close to the same point on my build. Perhaps you could label the parts that you've already installed?

I'm sure one of our Gurus will see this thread eventually, and help both of us out.

Matt
