AMC 360 advance curve

I have an AMC 360 in my cj-7. Its .030 over with dished pistons, edelbrock performer plus cam, performer manifold, hedman in frame headers. I,m a chevy guy, so I,m not familiar with all the AMC querks. I am aware that there are many variables, but I hear how HEI distributors in general have too much advance for AMC engines. What would a ball park figure be for total mechanical advance for an AMC v-8, and why is so different from a small block chevy? I mentioned in an earlier post that it has a Proform HEI, to which I added an MSD gear. The gear looks great as I,ve checked it 3 times in the first 60 miles. The distributor also has an adjustable vacuum advance. Iv,e ordered the Mr. gasket curve kit. Thank You for any help.
