AMC 304 Oil Pressure - 1978 CJ-7

The oil pressure measuring unit/point is at the front, bottom of the block just down from the actual oil pump - how do I know if I'm getting adequate oil pressure at the top/rear of the block?

Run it with the valve covers off, if the rockers are oiling your ok.
