AMC 20 gears

For some reason i cannot access the search feature right now, but earlier today I was reading a post about gears in the AMC 20. Someone wrote about the markings on the differential housing giving you info about what gears are inside. If anyone can post that again it would be awesome. The list stated that there is a letter(s) on top of the housing that designated the gearing and the double letters indicate a limited slip? Thanks for the help.
