Thanks, didn't know if the switch was messed up.

As for the turn signals-I told her to use her arm.

Thanks for the info, that helps,
Jim

Awesome looking Jeep! I almost can't believe how good of a shape it looks to be in. I noticed the pic of the horn. It looks just like the one on my dad's old 75 that I have been trying to get working. It's the old meep meep or jeep jeep horn. My girls loved the sound of it when I got it to work for about 30 seconds! It's a sound that I remember as a kid as well. Good luck with fixing her up!

Jr's has a horn on his '74CJ5 and Alyssa on this one. I put some wire to the horn and no go. Might not have had a good connection.

It is an original Jeep. The PO replaced the springs and put 2.5" Pro Comp and shocks on it. Other than that and a rebuilt carb, she is solid.

Now I need to add some lube to the front hubs but not exactly sure what to use.

Question in the area of turn signals.

Instead of me spending all that time wiring into the harness turn signal wiring etc.

Can't I just put some LED's in the back separate, or maybe a rear lense w/them in it. Peach really wants her to have turn signals to help prevent a rear end collision.

Is there a setup like this/aftermarket.

Thanks,
Jim

You will have to run the wires regardless. The easiest thing is to simply swap out the single bulb lights for duals in the front and rear, run the light and turn/brake light wires, install the signal stat, and wire it up. The system is really simple and parts are easy to find.

It's probably the least of your worries at this point, but maybe you can get them going. I had to take mine apart multiple times (didn't know what I was doing), but I think I have it whooped now. Those old Spartan model SA horns have a unique sound. Good luck!

Installed an electric fuel pump. If the Jeep sits for a week or more it won't start even w/the manual choke.

The electric pump primes the factory pump and then she starts fine.

Found a little leak on the water pump gasket.

I removed the 7lb cap and this is all I could find around town. Their book called for it. Hum

Bolts on the H20 pump were a little loose. Tightened them up, so far so good.
