Almost did a bad thing

I came way to close to killing my CJ5. I had convinced myself that I needed to be longer because I was getting killed on the climbs last year by Cherokees, 4Runners, ect. I had a 72 Commando body just about bought to switch my drivetrain in to. Then a visit to a long time wheeling buddy straightened me out. It seems you can only recall what you can't get over, not what you can. He reminded me of several obstancles I hopped over (Plumbers crack in Livingston for instance) that required much dragging or a bypass for his 4Runner. And snaking through trees and narrow paths only to turn around and wonder where everyone behind me went. I went out to the garagre and appologized to my little 5 and installed some new spring bushings and a new set of front shocks just to make him feel better. I guess my point is the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence but your grass might be pretty good too.
