all CJ's on 35's?

Hey all, just looking for cj's on 35's please include specs on your lift. I am planning to go with a spring over lift on my 7 but interested in seeing all types.

Here's my 79 cj5 with an soa lift on 35s. I don't have it anymore but still have the pics. But I wouldn't do the soa lift. I just bought a 78 with a 4" rough country lift on 33s and I like this one much better. And with all the stuff you have to do with the soa lift it's gonna cost you just as much as just buying one. Not to mention your leaf springs will wear out pretty fast. You can see in the second pic is before I put the new leaf springs on it

True. And I do have a spare sitting in the garage....just in case.
I wish I could truss mine, but with the offset, I don't know if it's possible. The long side tube has to be the weak spot in mine.

Been running 35's on mine for years. Stock 20 with a Lockrite and Alloy solid axles.

Been in some crazy stuff! Said I would upgrade when she let go, and haven't had to yet!

The problem is that there isn't any room to gusset to on the short side of the axle. With the spring plate, I barely had enough room to get a shock mount in there (on the axle tube). Keep in mind I am SOA, so the plate is on the top side of the axle tube.

Pay no attention to the ugly brown and white paint job. I bought them from a Jeep that was made into a show Jeep when new, and only had 14,000 miles when parted out. Couldn't pass them up for spares considering the shape they were in. I tried to get the frame also, but it was already claimed.

the angles you run would make ppl think you have fuel injection.

It was still running fine when these were taken. The only reason we hooked up the winch was to save my wind shield further on up when it caught the bank. It had actually leveled off by then, and I thought I had it made at that point.

Here is my CJ7 on 35's, 15x8.5" rims. I am running spring under with 3" Black Diamond springs and a 1" body lift. I am running Genright fenders on the front and low have Genrights in the rear to clear at full flex and keep the tires out of the sheetemtal.

heres mine on a 4" procomp lift with 35x14.50's

heres a pic of it with 35x12.50's I had to trim just a touch at the back of the rear wheel well to keep from rubbing at full flex. you can see a slight radius where I trimmed
