Air Injection Manifold - Plugging it up

Does anyone have a recommendation for plugging the holes in the exhaust manifold once the air injection system is removed? The rest of the air injection system was removed, but the manifold remains, and is currently just capped off where the hose connected to it at the back of the valve cover. I'd like to remove it without destroying it, if possible.

82 CJ5 - 258.

Thanks,

Jason

I used JB weld, let it set up over night, works fine.

Thanks Slik for the reply.

I had considered JB, but wasnt sure if it would be able to withstand the head of the exhaust manifold. DId you remove the air intake manifold and then plug the holes?

Yes, I pulled everything off before I thought about the holes and then just put the JB weld on and it worked

Remove the injector tubes, then cap the holes with brass plugs. I would also keep all the injection stuff you pull off. This allows you to remove the plugs and re-install the equipment if you decide to sell it or if for some reason the environazi's catch up with you.

Where can I find brass plugs? Yea, I have a box in the garage with all the enviro-nazi gear in it. Rest of the emissions are staying in place.
