Air cleaner stud for MC2100

Does anyone know the correct size? I need to get one...

I have no idea. Get a length of allthread (cheap) and use it to determine the right length.

Just about every carb/GM throttle body out there uses 1/4", so it's something that wouldn't be hard to find in a junkyard.

I bought a length of threaded rod at Home Depot, and cut mine to the size needed.

Length will depend on your air cleaner. That's why all thread is your ticket

i lock my stud to the carb with a nut where the stud screws in the top of the carb for vibraton so it stays tight

I am needing one also. It seems to me that it is fine threads on the MC2100 and the air cleaner end is coarse threads (for the common decorative nut).
I just bought a Mr Gasket 9" chrome air cleaner which has a 1/4 short length of coarse all threads. It will not screw into the carb base.

If my (admittedly fuzzy) memory serves, this is correct.
I believe some of the Ford 2 bbls had a stepped down stud, from 5/16 to 1/4.
