After Market Header Question

Im sorry if this has been asked before, I couldnt really find it. Anyway are there any after market headers I can install with out having to cut my fenders in the back corner? Every time I see someone put a set on they seem to be cutting or bending the fender a little to make it fit. Motor is a 1977 AMC 304

Check out this thread:

I called Edelbrock and they do not manufacture headers/exhaust any more.

You may be able to find these in stock somewhere though.

The 304 on my 7 used to have fender well headers with side pipes existing in
front of the rear tires, I did not like the noise or the fumes.

Good luck with your 5!

I have full length hedman headers on my 1979 CJ7 with a 304. Went right in with no mods. Hooked up to true dual exhaust. the only weird thing was routing the passenger side exhaust pipe around the transfer case. Exhaust dumps straight out the back.
