Advice on how to trick out a 360 with out breaking the bank...

Hey fellas,

Im up for all thoughs at suggestions on this topic. Ive got a 79 CJ7 with a 360 3spd. From what I know, it is pretty stock with little or no mods done to it. I havent done anything to the engine since I bought it. It has a 2barrel carb, I think, headers, and side pipes. I cant tell that there is anything else special about it. It runs great, has plenty of power, and I have no complaints but I am always up tp the challenge of trying to improve what I have. I dont want to spend a whole lot of money and I want to try and tackle these projects myself. Any thoughts on some mods that I can do to get more HP, better fuel mileage, etc? Thanks again and I look forward to reading your comments....
