Acme Top with Bumper / Tire Carrier??

My 79 CJ5 has an Acme hard top which I bought new in 1991. The only way to open the back window of the Acme top is to take off the spare tire and unbolt the carrier that spare tire mounts to. I want easier access to the back area, so I was thinking of buying a Smittybilt or Olympic or Warn or some other rear bumper / tire carrier combo that allows the tire to swing out. Does anyone know if the spare tire will swing out enough to allow the Acme rear hatch to fully open? Does the carrier stop opening at 90 degrees or does it go further? What rear bumper / tire carrier combo do you recommend?

I bought mine from Dirtworx (he sells his bumpers on e-bay and is in Corona CA). This is a new design with the removable rack and hi-lift mount.

One of the JF members, and also a Moderator, build these bumpers. He will build it to your specs, and his work is excellent. Many praises for his product. Check out Besrk... you won't be disappointed.
