93' Cherokee with Idle speed rough issue

My 1993 fuel injected 4.0 I-6 is experiencing an 'intermittent sputter' when at idle speed only. About every 15 to 30 seconds my engine idles much like it is running on 5 cylinders rather than 6. The sputter lasts for about 1 or 2 seconds than returns to normal idle speed. Here's the kicker; when I am at "any" speeds above idle my Jeep purrs like a kitten. I have already thoroughly cleaned the throttle body and recently replaced the idle stepper motor. My gas mileage is right where it is suppose to be as well. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I wanted to reply to my own post... After having my engine diagnosed (a couple of weeks ago) at a local shop here in San Diego that carries a great reputation for doing excellent work, I came to find that all of the usual suspect engine components that could or would cause this type of situation (distributor, coil, fuel injectors, fuel rail, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter and more) were all working properly.

Want was found by the technician was that I had improperly gaped my spark plugs to .45. I must have been drinking too much beer on that day because I am fully aware that the correct gap is .35

Be that as it may, I also had an 11 ounce can of 44K Power Enhancer put into my gas tank at a cost of $21.95 and I no longer have the above stated problem.

My hope is that this information will help another fellow Jeep enthusiast.

Why are you posting XJ questions in a CJ forum?

I get the feeling this is more about "44K Power Enhancer "
