85 CJ7 restoration Project

Well it is finally going to happen! My dad has had an 85 CJ7 parked in the barn for over 15 years without moving it. My brother and I finally convinced him to take it out. His first inclination was to sell it but he decided to keep it and make a project out of it. Ever since we took it out of the barn I have been trolling this forum and taking as much from it as possible. I figured I would share our restoration progress. Let us know if you have any suggestions or questions.

Basic Specs:
1985 Cj7 - mostly original
6cyl 120k miles
carter carb

-Complete frame up restoration while *attempting* to keep the cost down
-Do all the work ourselves (when possible)

How it looked after rolling it out of the barn and washing it down:
