"85 CJ-7 Carb. upgrade?

I have just reaquired my '85 CJ-7 with the in-line 6 258ci that I had to get rid of a couple of years back due to not having a place to store it. While words can't describe how ecstatic I am to have it back, i didn't miss the frustrations that came with trying to fart around with that stock Carter BBD carburator and choke assembly. The first thing that I want to address is upgrading the carburator and choke assembly. I toyed around with the idea of going EFI, but my buddy talked me back into keeping it "original". Wondering what some of the best options for upgrading these parts are. Thanks for your input.

I run a Clifford Intake and a Holley Truck Avenger Carb. VERY happy with the setup.
