80 cj7 with 82 Hard door Question (striker pin)

Heres my problem I have an 80 cj7 bought hard doors for it from an 82 cj7 so I find out the striker did not match so then I bought the door strike pins that work with that style door but they dont mount up to my tub.

Does any one know of a mod, design, or something that will work? more than likely I could make something on a mill at work but was wondering if anyone has a nice work around. I have searched the forum heavy and hard with no help.

Will these doors work with a factory hard top or do I need to find pre 1981 doors to match my Jeep?

Thanks for any help offered

looking at quadratecs summer catalog on page 28 bottom left they are just like those it says in the catalog that they will fit an 81 and up. Mine is an 80 so I was hope someone had a design to make it work so I dont have to design it my self.

Thanks
