79 cj7 brake lights

hello I tok my 79 cj7 with a Amc 304 and had a new master cylinder put in, it had brake lights when it went in and now it don't? ??

There is an adjustment for the brake light switch on the brake pedal.
Look under dash, and you will see what I mean.
Make the guy that did the MC install fix it.......

Thanks i will check it out. and yes the shop said to bring it back just was hoping for a quick fix.

Driving without b'lights is illegal, hope you get rear ended, or a ticket.
That shop is liable for letting the vehicle to leave like that.

Really hope I don't get rear ended or a ticket. .besides hard to get rear ended or a ticket parked in my driveway..

One common issue in many parts of the country where's there's moisture, there's oxidation and corrosion and what with CJ's being electrically challenged when it comes to grounds this is where I'd check first (ie the grounding of the tail lights). While yer at it, once you get the circuit problem addressed you might look into this upgrade, once I did this myself I was very impressed, and it's been lasting for over two years now.
