78 CJ5 tub weight
How heavy is the steel tub on a 78 CJ5? Just trying to work out how many friends I need to come over next week to help lift it off and put it on a trailer for paint.

I had four people total and we got the job done. It would have been nice to have a couple more just because we had to come straight up with it and we would have had more control.

My girlfriend and I were able to lift the tub off by ourselves without too much trouble. We had to lift it over the shifter too..

Two people can do it, three are better, and four are best.

At various times during my build I've even 'horsed' it around by myself (no big lifts).
