78-86 CJ Voltage to Coil?

I recently did an engine swap and believe that I have too much voltage going to the coil? Resistance wire is in place but I am still getting about 10.5 volts at idle. Can anybody with the factory Duraspark ignition from 1978 to 1986 measure the voltage to the coil at idle and let me know? Thanks.
