77 cj5 metal hardtop

Has anyone ever modified a 75 and older steel top to fit a 76 and newer cj5? Is it worth trying?

Why modify the top when you can change the windshield frame and have it fit?

The advertised position for a topless, dirty jeep girl has been filled......by my wife. Thanks to all that applied.

Plus make sure you get the small parts for the top, specifically the door hinge, and windshield frame adapters. Typically they are not included in the sale since they are attached to the Jeep.

The windshield adapters are very different on the 76+ and 75- as well
