All Fiberglass tubs are aftermarket. Looks good so far!
I'd like to see details of this project as it goes along. Interested in seeing how the wireing is done on non-metal.

That's a problem with narrow track axles.
He might want to upgrade to a set of widetracks, which would add some width for clearance, as well as disc brakes. Otherwise a set of spacers would help as well.

Tie rod flip would be the cheapest & easiest to clear the springs IMO.

With the V8 and big tires I would recommend the disk brake conversion even if he doesn't change to widetracks. Tie rod flip will move the tie rods above the knuckle and give you more clearance, plus rduce the need for a drop pitman arm.

Nice. As the owner of a 1976 CJ5 I can relate.

Just a point of interest, your frame has been dealer modified to accept a snow plow. That's the 'C' channel welded to the front of the frame:

Just like mine was.

No kidding. I have the same "C" channel on the front of my '76 CJ7. I wondered what that was all about. Just figured it was a PO mod. Thanks for the info.

Well we found out that this body is from ,AJ's sales and manufacturing,in PA. Here are a couple more pics,we are moving along its just going a little slow.LOL,the body ,hood and fenders are really lining up pretty good for fiberglass .I think we going to have to put in a order for a few parts.
