73 cj5 steering parts needed

Just noticed this evening on my jeep that where the shaft comes out of the steering column before it connects to the steering u-join, it is extremley loose. I can take it and move it all around. I'm sure there is supposed to be some kind of bearings or bushings or something in there.
I have looked and can't find anything for my model. I have a quadratec catalog and their parts are for a 76 and up.
What parts is this supposed to have and where to do I get them at?

I will check over at earlycj5 also.
Are you saying no that it won't work? Or no to the manual steering. I don't want power steering.
