'73 CJ5 Soft tops

Hi,
Looking to find a low cost soft top for my '73 CJ5.
Have seen the $900+ options and hope for something for
less coin. Thanks.

I've got a Bestop and it's pretty clutch. You can get a safari top for less than a hundred. It seems like 3-400 of the cost of a full bestop is the windshield/side channels. So check your Jeep and see if the channels are there. If they are you can just get a top for significantly less.

IMO you should save up your $$ and get a Supertop.
Hands down the best Jeep top I've ever had.

The cost of a Supertop now just blows me away. I'm glad mine is still in great shape.

The budget top for a '75 and older CJ5 would be the Tigertop. Those are the only two options for that year range I believe.

SCWCJ5.........Check out this craigslist link here in Wilmington, NC. They are selling a 74' Soft Top for $250, with doors. I don't think it will fit my 78, or I would have bought it.

Good luck.
