73 CJ5 304cid water pump replaced - HELP!

Just replaced the water pump on my '73 CJ5 with the AMC 304cid engine. The bearings holding the impeller shaft got chewed up and the thing was all misaligned, shaking and making a horrible noise while driving. As an added bonus, I spent an extra $3 on a new drive belt too.

Flushed the radiator and cranked her up. No leaks and the temp gauge was showing normal temp after I ran it for 20min and drove it around the block a couple of times.

Now a new noise is eminating from the pump area. Kind of a squeaking or weezing, but I'm really sure what it is. Could I have a fan belt too tight? Too loose?

I'm at a loss. This is a new noise that did not exist before, and again, I replaced the water pump and the fan belt and that's it.

could be the belt or the alt try a bar of soap on the belt and see if it stops making the noise if it does it has to do with the belt
