72 commando

im new to the forum and im lookin for some info on jeep commandos, not the jeepsters, the 72-73 commandos. ive been given a 72 thats in pretty good shape but needs a few things and ive found that there is almost no after market for these jeeps. ive got some maintence work to do on the tranny, steering and brakes, and a few mods for the engine in line. my big question is in the suspension and axle catagory. what direction do i need to look in as far as a small 2-4in lift, and swappin the dana 30 up front for a dana 44, where can i find a 44 that would be the same width or am i lookin a a custom axle for such a swap? any help would be greatly appreciated
