61 Willys Master Brake Cylinder

Hello all, I have an original 61 Willys CJ that I use for running around the lake in. Brakes just went out. The master cylinder appears to be original...as all other parts. Went to remove it discovered that the rear bolt holding it on won't clear the part due to hitting on the engine. It's a bear to get to anyway and there is a plate under it. I need to get the rear bolt out so I can get the plate off and get to the single brake line. Any hints? Thanks for any help, I'm a new member and look forward to any help.

Jayhawkclint, thanks again for the link to the old jeep board. Very nice, and it looks like I will find all of the info I need. Hope to see you over there.
