42re Trans To Dana 300?

Ok so I have a 80 cj7 with a 151 4 banger and it is tired and under powered so I am looking at an engine swap I found 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is being parted out it has a 4.0,auto trans. engine has 30,000 miles the guy wants $1000 for both eng & trans seems like pretty good deal? So my ? is will my dana 300 t-case bolt up to the trans I think it is a 42RE I searched for an adaptor but no luck so thought I would ask the experts thanks for any help

They don't make an adapter for that I've ever heard of. And I'm not a big fan of that 42RE at all.
