4.2L to a 4.0L head swap?

I may need to pull the head on my 4.2L My question is how much am I looking at for a 4.0L head? Also where would you recommend getting one at? Thanks

You can go one of two ways.... Junkyard head which is cheaper, but you don't know what you're getting or what the condition is... You can spend a few hundred getting it machined and you're good to go.

You can also get one from Hesco for around $700, but atleast you know it's a direct bolt on and there isnothing else to be done.

I used to own two CJ's...Perhaps a 3rd is in the future?
