4.0 head swap

I'm just lining up parts for the 4.0 head swap and I' m wondering how to make the connection to my exhaust from the new header.I realize that I'll need to have some exhaust work done,Is it possible to use a headpipe from a newer wrangler to mate to my CJ?Can anyone tell me what year/s pipe will work? Thanks...

This is probably one of the best write-ups out there. It gives you all the info you need to answer your question.

You can use the CJ head pipe with minor adjustments to your cat.
The YJ pipe bends the wrong way. An exhaust shop can do all of this for you if you tow the rig to them.

I just bolted the header on mine and drove it to the muffler shop for fabing. It was load as sin but easy. Only $100 bucks to run some custom pipes for me.
