4.0 fuel injection conversion

Guys, I'm looking for a little help. Here's where I'm at:

I have beautifully restored 83 cj7. The 258 was completely rebuilt and I put on a new weber carb. I don't like the power (or lack therof). During the rebuild I ripped off all the computer stuff so now I have power to an HEI and that's it.

I am picking up a 4.0 head (7120) to put on my 258. A good guy named Tito from this forum really helped me through that process and I am all set with that. When I went to pick up my head I also purchased the intake manifold. It has the MFI stuff on it (see pic below). So... I am going to go ahead and add the injection at the same time. BTW I also purchased the computer and wiring harness.

I have went through the threads on this forum and I am getting info overload (read; I'm not a gearhead but like to pretend I am).

Is anyone interested in taking a couple minutes to tell me how I need to proceed? I am particulaty confused about something that reads where the cam is and how am I going to get the electric to work. I believe I also need a new fuel pump for more pressure.

I guess I'm asking for a road map.

Thanks guys.

Jeff

This one is a good read, http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=24 also look above in the stickies for the 4.0 swap, the injection swap is going to be about the same on the 258. Here it is http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/official-4-0-swap-thread-475002/ From the pics, yours looks like a obd1 system. Goggle "Jeep 4.0 mpi swap" and you will get a ton of info. Remember what you find is not always right, read a lot and compare for yourself and find what works best for you.

http://www.hesco.us/techtips.asp

go here and download the mpi install instructions for their kit and read. you'll end up here at the hesco site before your done. they are very helpfull people.
I would go find a 4.0 and take everything off the front of the engine from the alt. to the power stearing pump and all hoses and mounting brackets and convert the 4.2 to 4.0 stuff.
never had good luck with the ford e200 fuel pump, the hesco external pump works better for me.
