I doubt it. It's pretty tough to get the cap that holds it in to start due to the pressure from the spring pushing against it.

That sucks. I was hoping it was something easy.

A heavier oil will probably gain you a few pounds, but that's a temporary fix.

I think it's time to drop the oil pan and find out what's going on. Hopefully it's just a clogged pickup, and not bad bearings somewhere.
