304 manifolds broken polution tube removal

Finally picked up a set of manifolds. I tried to remove the pollution tubes however I broke one off
in the manifold I do not know how to remove the threaded portion of it will an easy out work or should I drill it out any suggestions would be helpful .

I cut all of the tubes off flush on my sons manifolds, tapped them to accept bolts, and put short bolts with muffler cement on them back in place. Hasn't leaked yet.

James,

You should be able to work it out with an easy-out. Perhaps use a little heat.

I think the bolt size is technically a 14mm, but a 9/16" fine thread is only about .01" larger, and they fit good.

The shortest 9/16" fine thread my hardware store had were too long, so I cut them down to length.

Did you add any washers? I'm going to give the easyout a shot, with some heat tonight...wish me luck.
