Awhile ago on ebay there was a scrambler rolling chassis with this swap and to get around the driver side clearance, he used 2 passenger side headers and mounted the drivers side one on backwards then looped exhaust tube around the bottom front of the engine and into a y pipe that caught the other header.

Hey Rob I looked up what headers Mike ended up using and this is them here are the ones I bought. I had forgotten that he had sent me this link the other day when we were talking about them. Hope this is some use to you.

Keep up the great work too!!

Rob, your build is progressing nicely... I have been on vacation for almost a month in Colorado and just got back last week end... Trying to catch up on everyone's builds... There are a lot of them, 243, Coiz, etc......

Thanks Jim, I pretty much wrapped up the bodywork for now on the Jeep back panel, just need to grind some of the welds and filler at the bottom once I pull the bumper off.

I also have been working on my buddy's early bronco door pillar..it was a big job but its mostly done

Impressive work With all the cool V-8's going in jeeps, I'm already thinking about replacing my 258, and I haven't even installed it yet.

Finally got a chance to get back to this a bit. Got the full gasket and seal kit. Heads and lower intake back on, new oil pump in and timing set. Have a new water pump going in. Need to paint the rest of the block. Does anyone have a source for new water pump bolts and timing cover bolts for these motors? Thanks
