Spieg8, the new pitman arm is on its way. Anyway, going back to the steering wheel horn button, that actually turned out to be an easy hook up. There is one wire that goes to the spade on the back of the horn button, and the over end of the wire is a round female connector that goes over the pin in the column that sticks thru the steering wheel hub. Does this make sense? Sorry I didn't take a pic, but horn works now with the Lecarra wheel.

Also got some decent '84 door panels off ebay for $75 shipped that are slightly darker (nutmeg) than my interior but they'll be ok for now.

Put this drop pitman arm on last night. Its nice b/c it doesn't have the index marks which allows you to put it wherever you need it. I put it straight back with the wheels straight, so now there is plenty of meat in the sleeve.

Going surf fishing next week in Bethany Beach, DE so I made this sand spike. Any surf fishing pointers?

Got some new McGard lugs & locks off ebay for my wheels. Set the ignition timing and set the idle too. Hooked up my ebrake cables finally. Been driving it around, runs great. Still need to hook up the foglights and do some minor stuff.

I see you're in the CJ of the month. Some nice CJs on there. I hope evryone takes the time to see the work you've put into yours before they vote. That sure counts for allot! Not that the other folks haven't but I've followed yours all along and have appreciated what you've done. Best wishes my friend!

Rob,
i'm having the exact same issues with my CJ and the steering. I flipped the tie rod above the knuckles as well..my drag link lies slightly under the tie rod, so i'm going to put a stock pitman arm on as well...I have an AGR set up in mine and mine still turns better to the left than the right!!
Very frustrating on the trail and pulling into parking spaces...

let me know how yours works out and i'll post up my fix as well.

Your jeep is looking great!!

Thanks guys, yea it is a lot of fun to drive. Yea Brian, you could try a stock pitman arm. I know when I had the stock pitman arm the wheels would turn tighter because its actually a little longer than the drop pitman. I ended up getting another drop pitman that could be placed in any direction without any index marks, and it fixed the problem so it turns evenly in both directions. My P/S pump actually doesn't whine at all now since I added more fluid to it, which is good. Also those you of you with 5.0s, where do you have your timing at? 10*, maybe 14*? Thanks
