Cj 3 speed auto on the column to 4?

what I want to know is, has anybody converted the cj7 (1980) 3 speed automatic column shifter to a 4 speed column shift column? or is there a replacement say out of a wagoner? doing the 4l60e swap and want to keep the column shifter. any ideas? it can't be as simple as mounting the 4 speed indicator?
also if anybody knows if they are still counting "hull" numbers?

You maybe able to adapt parts from a chevy "G" van collum, or just use the complete collum. I don't remember the company name, but I installed a 700r4 in my 76 Laguna. There is a company that has a kit that replaced the detent plate in the shifter. If you google installing an orver drive trans into a camaro/firebird they may have something to help. Worst case, running what you have, you won't be able to manually shift into first gear. Ron
