258 parts interchange

Just picked up a 258 off CL cheap. Wanted it as a spare for my 83. Engine code says it is a 73 "A" code. (standard compression). After doing a little minor research on the net, it is listed as 110 hp. I assume that that is due to the 1 barrel carb? Are all the accessories interchangeable off my current block? (Intake, exhaust manifolds, accessory brackets?) I would assume that if my current engine went down I would have to use the 73 head as a complete assembly due to valve cover design?
Thanks for any comments/advice!

I swapped a 1 BBL 78 engine into my 86 and used the 86 manifolds and valve cover because the 78's cover was cracked. I had to move the rocker bridges over for the cover swap.

I don't remember having any issues doing it.
