258 Intake and Exhaust manifold

I'm trying to get the bolts out that bolts the throttle bracket to the bottom of the exhaust manifold that also bolts the two manifolds together.

I don't want to unbolt them both from the engine I just need to replace the bracket because it has rusted to pieces. (just need to fix it to sell the Jeep)

I have found no wrench that fits on the stud, Is that a nut on it ? It is in a hard area to see and limited space to get Visegrips on it. It has been too long since I've had this apart.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Should take a 1/2" (or maybe 9/16?) 12 point socket, if I remember correctly.

Is it a 12 point nut? otherwise I'd use a 6 point socket

I believe it is a 3/8 bolt, that has a smaller 12 point flanged head on it.

Ahh, one of these then.

My 76 just had a 6 point holding the exhaust to the intake. what pain after years of heat and rust to get off.

Good to see AMC did something right then.
