Have your starter load tested to see how many AMPS it taking.
What's the CCA on your battery?

Its the design of the starter. i had 3 on a bench and tested with a slightly flat battery and they would spin but not engage the solinoid. With a fully charged one they almost flip over from the torque. Under 10mins on a charger and the other battery would do the same. Battery was 660cca. These starters seem to be sensitive to low voltage.

YUP, they do. That's the why you get the highest CCA rating you can. 660 will barely cut it
I went to a group 24 size
