I personally work for Chrysler and I can confirm that most of their concepts never are produced. But the ones that are look nothing like the concepts that are "leaked" to the public.

I really hope that holds true when it comes to that abomination of a "jeep". That thing is terrible.

The "fiat - jeep" mix like a cocktail of coffee and lemon!
Jeep Forum should dissociate and not recognize the "fiat jeep" like a real Jeep!

Interesting vehicle intended for a specific market. However, to call it a "Renegade" is is an insult to the past when a Renegade Jeep was pretty cool to own.

By Specific market, I assume your referring to the yuppies, hipsters and little girls who want to "feel" like they are cool driving a "jeep".... But what they really driving is a Fiat/Kia!!!! You think we should start an online petition to change the name ?

You got it. The Renegade package has evolved from a performance package to an appearance group to a badge engineered econo box based on Fiat.

I had really hoped Jeep would resurrect the Renegade name for a special edition JK like the 10A Rubicon with some performance enhancements.

Oh well.
