2001 Grand Cherokee seats in CJ5

I did a quick search and didn't find anything. I'm planning on fabbing hardware to fit, so I'm not asking about the brackets/sliders. Has anyone crammed these seats into a CJ5? Wondering if they're too wide/high for such a small tub.

Found a deal on some clean leather seats. Thanks.

That's a good question. I have black leather I got for the seat motors and the heat pads as spares for our 04.

Bump. There seems to be a bunch of really nice leather GC seats floating around. Anyone?

Just a question...have you sat in these seats? My ex had an 01 GC, & I hated driving that thing because the seats were uncomfortable. No lumber support at all.

I'd sit in the seats in our 04 all day.

Nope. Just thought they looked comfy. Gotta be better than the cat piss covered cherokee seats I pulled out.
