1991 mustang 5.0 accelerator cable for cj7

i have a 1985 cj7 and it has a 1991 mustang 5.0 v8 in it. my accelerator cable snapped right at the pedal. i need to get a full replacement but i dont know if i need to get a mustang cable or a jeep cable. i see some available for the cj7 with v8 engines but i dont know if it would fully work with the 5.0 i have. at the point where it goes through the dash it has some washers in it which looks like it was modded to be able to hold the 5.0 cable... i just dont know what to do please help!

Here post 352. I put in a 94 mustang 5.0 and the throttle cable fit like a glove too.

Or take a look at the Lokar universal throttle cables.
