1990's or 2000 model 350 TBI vortex

OK being from Maine there is no shortage of these motors and they are cheap. My question is other than the motor, what part of the wiring is needed? I know the wiring harness out of the vehicle runs more than the motor, it runs the entire vehicle. That being said, if you grab the computer and motor is there a harness that runs for a jeep? Hope that is a clear enough questions. Thanks in advance for your help.

Grab the whole harness from the firewall forward that goes to the motor and then their is quite a few write ups on how to whittle down to the essentials; a quick google search should help their. I'd grab everything you can get all the Accessories on the front of the motor back to the y-pipe back to the cats and o2 sensors if possible.

The L31 "Vortec" engines weren't TBI. There were TBI engines with Vortec heads, but they weren't Vortec engines.

If you're wanting TBI (L05), those were 87-95.

Are the L05 the easier ones to install CSP?

The only difference is the injection system, so one really isn't easier than the other to install. TBI is a simpler injection system to understand, but since you're doing a complete injected engine it doesn't make that much difference.
