Hi:
I am trying to decide between a 1989 Wrangler with 122,400 miles and a 1992 Wrangler with 162,700 miles. Both have good soft tops, body comparable condition, both 4 cyl, manual trans, and 4 wheel drive. The 162,700 miles scares me - should I be more concerned with the 3 year difference or the miles????

Please give me on what one you would choose and why. Prices of each about the same also.

Thanks is advance.

You might want to try the YJ forum. You'll get way better feedback than here at the CJ forum.

but also the '92 has fuel injection if it matters to you
So does the '89. IIRC the '89 4-popper throttle body injection and the '92 has multi-port. Both will leave you wanting for more power on the highway, but work fine around town and off road for terrain that doesn't require HP.
