Not going to rehash all the good observations.
My opinion - a lot of "modifications" have been made. Front end, suspension, interior, wheels perhaps. Who knows what else. Every old cj is a project. Some more than others. Unless you're the guy that bought that 400 mile cj at auction for $40k.
I would look hard at rust issues. Everything else can be unbolted and swapped. If you're in for that, of course. Just a thought - i've seen a few cj's w the one piece front end installed b/c it was involved in an accident, and that was the quickest, easiest repair.
