1984 CJ7 with odd noise...

258 with a weber 400...

Auto RHD... with the standard floor shifter - not the column. Its got a whining sound the is far worse in low than in 2nd and drive - so gets a higher pitch sound in that gear. The sound come from right below the shifter - of course and is revolving... like in unicen with the speed i am travelling at and is a pain in the A**.

Any ideas what I have to do to kill it !?

cheers lads
g
