1980 CJ7 Tremec help please

I've put a new 1st/2nd fork in my T176, had to trim it down a little to clear on the reverse fork. When I go to put it together all I can get is 1st gear. Has anyone else had any issues like this?? Before trimming it, it was fouled up and wouldn't move at all. Is it possible that the reverse fork is missing the reverse gear under the other gears??

I had an issue when I was doing my frame up resto, if you slide the top in wrong just a little bit it could go into first and reverse at the same time which could lock the tranny up. Just look down when you open it up make sure it is in nuteral and the reverse gear is lined up with the back slide.
