1979 rebuild CJ7

I'm not sure if this will work but heres some pics of my 79 CJ7 rebuild so far.

When I brought her home

Added new seats

http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/x...g?t=1275690519

Added decal and close up of PO home camo paint job

http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/x...g?t=1275690519

Added roll bar pads and then decide to get frame and rust fixed

If this works I'll upload pictures of frame and floor welds

Floors were rusty so cut out and patched in the new on driver side and under the seat. New floor on passenger side

There was no bolt/plate to attach seat belt to for driver. I will replace the lap belts with shoulder belts. Here is the plate that was welded in for the nut to bolt to

Under the tub before Por15

Will post more pics of body work later

Where in Jax are you? I'm in Middleburg and currently doing a frame up build on my 83 CJ7. Would be nice to meet other jeepers in the area. Would be nice to have other people to wrench with and finally ride with once the project is done/

Cool- I live towards the beach area so not too far from you. It would be good to get some local jeepers together especially CJ's. Will prob be next year until my Jeeps back on the road though

Yea it would be sweet to get a bunch of local CJ's together. Mines not going to be on the road anytime soon either though. I still have to repair the tub, do a mild build up of the motor, basically I'm building a new jeep...lol
