Dude,

I was only busting your chops, I'm not trying to piss you off. You just made me chuckle when you dismissed dual batteries as not necessary so I had to call you out a bit. Either way I'm impressed with your skill building the jeep up even. Your a good sport.

I agree! I'll look into it. Initial Google search didn't produce much but I always have time at a computer when at work.

Its all good man. Opinions are like @$$holes, everybodys got one. I have not seen anything crazy in the old setup with what I was running. On a typical trip down the trails all I'll be running at any given moment is the radio, motor, 1 fan unless the thermostat has the other fan engaged, and the fuel pump. At night will be a different story and I'll just have to see how the motor runs the first night run. Before I was running a 145amp alternator and never saw any problem with lights, KC lights, and all above mentioned items running at idle. Hopefully it stays that way, i'll be incoporating rock lights at some point and that will be about it accessory wise. So here is to hoping I'll be good for now.

Well as the video is posted you can all see it started. I knocked out a few things before firing it up. One was grounding the harness out to the motor. I ground the Engine to the firewallm and the 3 harness grounds to the heads and motor mounts.

Also the day before I had started filling the trans up with fluid and it started leaking heavily from the dipstick tube. This was my fault. I had tried to bend the old tube to get a better curve to match the ls motor and ended up cracking it at the weld. So Saturday morning I was at pep boys picking up a new tube / dipstick and 4in intake tubing to finish my intake. I hadn't been able to finish mounting the MAF because I didn't have the extra piece.

Oh come on Trent! Open headers aren't that loud! I ran my bronco's 302 like that on the street for almost a year!
