The motor lined up pretty well and everything cleared. The exhaust on the passenger side is a little close to the frame rail but any good exhaust shop should be able to work around it. Also I was worried about the steering shaft clearing but most of the research I had seen was telling me it would.

The other thing thats awesome is with the champ pan its really close to the same height as the tranny pan so going forward once I get the Atlas it will be pretty easy to get a skid mounted.

Closed the hood to see what the clearance was. I have about 2in of clearance from the top of the intake cover to the hood. I'm fine with it.

Looks tight JP.

That's how I feel much rather work on the cj than school or work.

Yeah it feels like it has been forever since I had worked on the rig. Was nice to finally see all the research I have been doing being put into use.

I'll be going with dual into a Y and then a magnaflow single chamber muffler. Then route the exhaust out the side. I am done running dual exhaust and taking up a ton of room under my chasis.

The shop is closed Monday / Tuesday so no new updates to report. Be ordering parts mostly and getting caught up on all the stuff that I put on hold for the last few days. Trying to be productive at work and get some rank headed my way so I can make a little more money. We will see what happens. May not be able to get into the shop on Wednesday though....we are supposed to received 8in of snow or more.
